Description

KDE upstream features a Blueetoot applet, bluedevil.

Setup

A PC with a supported bluetooth radio device and the bluez stack

How to test

  1. Boot to KDE Plasma Desktop
  2. Check whether you have the bluetooth radio HW switch on (if present), the Bluetooth applet icon appears in the system tray
  3. Ensure you can pair your PC with different devices like a mobile phone or another PC
  4. Try to inspect/browse the files on the connected device
  5. Check whether you can transfer files to/from the device correctly using the KDE's file manager Dolphin

Expected Results

  1. Both devices get paired correctly
  2. File transfer is successful (note that not all devices support file transfers both ways)
