* Log in to the dashboard as user 'admin'

* On the left hand side, select 'Images & Snapshots'
* On the left hand side, select 'Projects'
* Under 'Images', find the image you uploaded previously, and select 'Launch' on the right hand side.
* Create a new project and give it a description.
** Fill in a name in the 'Server Name' section
* Select the 'Users' category on the left hand side
** Enter any arbitrary text in the 'User Data' section
* Create a new user, selecting the primary project as the one you created in step 3.
** Verify that the flavor list shows several options, select one.
* Log out, and relogin as the new user. Verify that the left hand panel has the correct default project selected.
** Select the keypair that you previously created.
* Log out, and relogin as the admin user.
** Click 'Launch Instance'
* Delete the project you created.
* You should be transfered to the 'Instances & Volumes' page. Refresh the page occasionally and verify the instance is reported as starting correctly.
* Delete the user you created.
* Select the instance row, and click 'terminate instance'
* Refresh the page until the instance row is purged

Setup

How to test

  • Log in to the dashboard as user 'admin'
  • On the left hand side, select 'Projects'
  • Create a new project and give it a description.
  • Select the 'Users' category on the left hand side
  • Create a new user, selecting the primary project as the one you created in step 3.
  • Log out, and relogin as the new user. Verify that the left hand panel has the correct default project selected.
  • Log out, and relogin as the admin user.
  • Delete the project you created.
  • Delete the user you created.

Expected Results

No obvious errors were thrown.
