Description

you can connect with virt-viewer to VMs managed by RHEV-M or oVirt

Setup

you will need:

  • access to RHEV-M or oVirt setup
  • F19 machine with virt-viewer installed

How to test

  1. invoke virt-viewer:
    remote-viewer ovirt://your-ovirt-uri.example.com/<your_vm_name>

Expected Results

The following must be true to consider this a successful test run. Be brief ... but explicit. remote-viewer connects to the VM successfully

Optional

if you'll see error message with SSL failures, it is a known issue that occurs when host name/IP doesn't match CN field of server certificate subject.
