Description

This test case verifies that you can configure the network interfaces with the new naming scheme.

Setup

Boot into the Rawhide kernel.

Howto Test

  1. Execute 'system-config-network' and configure (set IP address) em1.
  2. Execute 'system-config-network' and configure (set IP address) pci3#1
  3. Execute 'system-config-network' and configure (set IP address) pci3#1_0

Expected Results

  1. Make sure steps 1, 2 and 3 of 'How to Test' succeed.
  2. Make sure each of the network interfaces can pass traffic.
