Description

This test case tests whether the chosen input method can be selected successfully.

Click on Right corner of the panel, then click on setting icon. Or you run gnome-control-center.
Click on "Keyboard"
Click on "Input Sources"
In "Region & Language" windows, Click on the "+" icon at the bottom.
Add the input source of your choice. Click on Add.
Close the Region & Language window.

Your chosen Input Methods should be listed in the language menu of the ibus applet.
