Description

This install verifies that installing using an NFS installation source that contains the iso images works. See Anaconda/Options for information on supported boot options.

How to test

  1. Boot the installer using any available means
  2. Direct anaconda to use NFS as the installation type
    1. Choose "NFS" in the first stage of the installer, and Provide a nfs server and path to where your CDROM or DVD iso images are stored
    2. Specify on the boot commandline:
      method=nfsiso:host.domain.tld:/path
  3. Proceed with installation

Expected Results

  1. Anaconda uses NFS server and path as directed
  2. Install completes successfully
  3. Package errors (install.log) should not occur
  4. System boots successfully
