f13 k 10:09
f13 lets get started 10:09
-!- f13 changed the topic of #fedora-meeting to: Fedora releng - Final Freeze 10:09
f13 that would be tomorrow, or technically tonight. 10:09
f13 I'm setting up the f10-final tag today and cloning dist-f10 over to it, and will keep it in sync with dist-f10 until around rawhide production time 10:09
f13 dist-rawhide will be made to inherit from f10-final and tomorrow's rawhide will be the frozen content. 10:10
* poelcat here 10:10
notting at which point, we go into ack-mode? 10:10
f13 We're going to start getting tickets and emails for tag requests, we'll deal with them as usual. 10:10
f13 notting: that's correct. 10:10
f13 I'm also going to start the signing today, not sure if it'll finish in time for tonights rawhide though 10:11
f13 There is an all day long triage effort going on for the blocker/trackers for F10 over in #fedora-blockers today 10:14
f13 I'd recommend you guys idling there and helping out. The more we get fixed today, the less we have to ack later. 10:14
-!- f13 changed the topic of #fedora-meeting to: Fedora releng - Preview Release 10:14
f13 We've also got a preview release to do, based on the frozen content. RCs for that are going to start on Wed~ 10:15
f13 release date is a week from tomorrow, and it's a fully mirrored release 10:15
f13 (these things were so much easier when they were just done internally to RH and tested internally) 10:15
f13 Anyway I'm going to need help keeping an eye out for bugs that would hurt the preview release. 10:16
f13 we'll need a wiki page created to track validation of the RCs for preview, I'll have jlaska or wwoods cook one of those up for us 10:16
notting are there actual bugs filed for 'livecd too big', etc? 10:17
f13 I don't think so 10:18
f13 I need to try the i686 live today and see how big it is. 10:18
f13 wwoods: hey welcome back. 10:18
wwoods woo. thanks. 10:19
f13 wwoods: we're talking about preview release, we just covered the final freeze on tomorrow. 10:19
f13 wwoods: after tonight, builds will need acks to get into rawhide 10:19
f13 we're likely to get pinged on IRC, emails to the releng list (which is moderated, I'll keep an eye on the queue) and tickets 10:19
f13 I'd prefer tickets for any tagging requests 10:20
jeremy f13: the image I built this morning was 704 I think 10:20
f13 jeremy: fun! 10:20
f13 Given how close we are to a major US holiday, we really need to be careful about letting anything in that could cause us to slip 10:20
wwoods where's the ticket queue email/URL 10:20
f13 https://fedorahosted.org/rel-eng/report 10:20
f13 that's the ticket queue 10:20
f13 all new tickets by default get assigned to the mailing list, https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/rel-eng 10:21
f13 rel-eng@lists.fedoraproject.org 10:21
f13 wwoods: I'm looking for a wiki page to get created to track preview release candidates 10:22
f13 and um, https://bugzilla.redhat.com/showdependencytree.cgi?id=F10Preview&hide_resolved=1 looks a bit rediculously long 10:23
f13 anything else on Preview release? 10:24
wwoods f13: yes, there's an ongoing meeting in #fedora-blocker to triage it all 10:24
f13 wwoods: yeah, I mentioned that earlier 10:25
f13 ok, doesn't sound like it. 10:27
-!- f13 changed the topic of #fedora-meeting to: Fedora releng - F11 schedule. 10:27
f13 poelcat: drafted up an f11 schedule for our review 10:27
f13 .rel 843 10:27
zodbot f13: #843 (Draft Fedora 11 Schedule) - Fedora Release Engineering - Trac - https://fedorahosted.org/rel-eng/ticket/843 10:27
f13 please to be reviewing and commenting over the next few days 10:27
-!- f13 changed the topic of #fedora-meeting to: Fedora releng - open floor 10:34
f13 the mic is open. 10:34
f13 alright we've got work to go, thanks all. 10:40
