Fedora Desktop Introduction

Freedomknight made a presentation on topic about what the problems a normal desktop user would meet with Fedora. For example, some codecs are not included in official repo as patent issues. Thus we had to add some third party repo such as RPMFusion to use them. There were some issues will encounter when you wanted to use WebATM pages in Taiwan. And Chrome had not supported Java anymore. Linux games were more than before because Steam had been moving their focus on Linux platform recently. Now Linux users can enjoy some popular games too.

Fedora Cloud and Server

Carl Su introduced Fedora Cloud and Server and demoed how to use Cloud with AWS. Project Atomic is introduced too. There are some pros and cons of Fedora Cloud. Those who don't like the cons could use Fedora Server to deploy his/her own containers as before.
