The Fedora Directory Server is a robust, scalable open-source server designed to manage large directories of users and resources. It is based on an open-systems server protocol called the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).

CVS

To get access to a CVS tree for anonymous read-only access, you will need to do the following:

  • set your CVSROOT variable:
CVSROOT=:pserver:anonymous@cvs.fedoraproject.org:/cvs/dirsec
export CVSROOT
  • Log into the CVS server using an empty password when asked for the anonymous password (just press Enter):
cvs login
(press Enter when prompted for the password)
  • Checkout your desired module.
cvs checkout ldapserver

As an alternative, you can use the ViewCVS web interface.

CVS commits are sent to the fedora-directory-commits mailing list .
