2009 I said goodbye to the propriety OS world and installed Ubuntu Jaunty on my personal laptop. Ubuntu's community and the ease of use was a great first step to the world of Linux but some Canonical decisions like to stick on Unity as a desktop environment or the forced implementation of 'Ubuntu One' made me finding a distro which was more open. Finally after testing several distros I'm now happy with Fedora - so far.

Currently I'm working as a Customer Support engineer for a international company in the RFID market. At the beginning of my carrer I was teacher but lost my patience to work with teenagers more and more so I moved on ;)

As I read through the '-german' Fedora website I thought that the german tranlation team could need some help ;-)
