I said goodbye to the propriety OS world and installed Ubuntu Jaunty on my personal computer in 2009. Ubuntu's community and the ease of use was a great first step to the world of Linux. But some  decisions from Canonlical like to change to Unity as a desktop environment or the forced implementation of 'Ubuntu One' made me searching for a distro which was more open. Finally - after testing several distros I'm now happy with Fedora.

Currently I'm working as a Customer Support engineer for a international RFID company. At the beginning of my carrer I was teacher but lost my patience to work with teenagers, so I moved on ;)

As I read through the Fedora website in german I thought that the german tranlation team could need some help ;-)
