Is this a good idea? I've been using the preview (backported) version in CentOS. We ran into some serious trouble when the metadata allocation filled up. If the metadata allocation fills up, access to lvs commands will hang. The only way to fix the issue is to pvremove the physical volume. Until the feature to resize the metadata is working and the issue with it hanging, I don't suggest using thinp.
