Hope someone can answer that for me :) Its not clear what the actual definition of "tags" and "targets" are and, since these are used so commonly in build/software for so many different projects (i.e. git tags, subversion tags, maven targets, make targets, etc...) I think the meaning of a "koji tag" and "koji target" should be clearly defined somehwere). | |||

Tags and Targets
I've posted a stackoverflow question which I hope will further disambiguate some of the ideas behind how tags and targets work.

Hope someone can answer that for me :) Its not clear what the actual definition of "tags" and "targets" are and, since these are used so commonly in build/software for so many different projects (i.e. git tags, subversion tags, maven targets, make targets, etc...) I think the meaning of a "koji tag" and "koji target" should be clearly defined somehwere).
