The page "introduces the Fedora Remix", so I expect it to mention and point to everything there is to say about the topic. Could someone clarify how this relates to the fedora-logos and generic-logos and their description? May fedora-logos be used for remixes? Shouldn't the generic package be renamed to fedora-remix-logos and include the nice "new" logos? Kiilerix 08:18, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

* No, the fedora-logos may not be used for Remixes made for distribution.  Use of the Fedora logos on distributions of Fedora software are reserved for e.g. the official spins released through the Fedora Project.  I've made this clearer on the page, but all uses of Fedora trademarks should observe the Fedora trademark guidelines.  This page is not meant to be a substitute for reading that page, and copying those guidelines into this page makes it less maintainable.  Hopefully the new text makes that clearer. --stickster 15:52, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

** Thanks for clarifying how things are related. May I suggest updating the description of the fedora-* packages to make it clear that they only may be distributed with only Fedora packages and refer to the generic-* packages as an alternative. IMHO the description of the generic-* packages should also make it clear that they are suitable for use in a Fedora Remix. --Kiilerix 22:33, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

--Kiilerix 08:18, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

 • No, the fedora-logos may not be used for Remixes made for distribution.
