Davi Garcia was born in 1986 in Brasília, Brazil. He lives in Rio de Janeiro/RJ with his family. His first contact with IT related stuff was in the end 90's at School. After that he started to study computer architecture and work with computer repair. At the same time in 2001 he got in contact with the first Linux distribution, Conectiva Linux (a Brazilian distribution). After this, he started to try many other distributions until find RH9. After RH becomes a paid distribution (RHEL), he migrated to Fedora Core. He joined Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in 2006 to study Computer Science, finishing in 2012. During the course, he worked as a HPC system administrator of NACAD-COPPE. After the college, he joined Cisco Systems to work as network engineer, supporting customer in a wide range of platforms.
