==about me==

I was born 1974 in Karl-Marx-Stadt, that city is called today on his old name Chemnitz again. First contact with computers I made in the school system on a computer called KC-85. Computers played later a part of my life, I joined the german army and became a specialist for data processing in a unit that repaired electronics. After 6 years of service I left the army but not really, I served several times in the reserve forces. Actually I weared more uniform as I was a civilian.

Later I became a computer scientist and work since then for a small company in my city. That company is one of the oldest companies in germany who earn her money with linux and so I became a fan of that operating system. I did several talks at events about free software, became part of the organization team of Chemnitzer Linux-Tage, organized the meetings of the local Linux user group. Later I joined RadioTux and was some years the responsible person for the program from events there. as I mentioned before I worked some years for the organization of Chemnitzer Linux-Tage. First as part of the Praxis Dr.Tux, where people got help with installations of Linux or free software or help with configurate there systems. Later I was responsible for that team. I worked also in the design team of that event and was later responsible for the whole design (visitors of that event knows a little bit what it means, there are round 500 different things who have to get styled from the program plans until neon signs). Since then I work more and more on graphic stuff, and so I do that also for fedora. My favorited tool for doing this is Inkscape and some say I am an master in using that tool, so I travel around and give free lessons how to use it and wrote also a [http://www.amazon.de/Inkscape-Praxisbuch-%C3%9Cbungen-Videotutorials-Grafik/dp/3826690346/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1353493465&sr=8-4 book] about it.

I also interested in free culture, so I work for [https://openclipart.org/user-detail/gnokii OCAL] and invented a kind of event in Germany where free movies are showed. I started with it on [http://chemnitzer.linux-tage.de/2008/service/film.html Chemnitzer Linux-Tage 2008] as event on the evening for the vistors of the event. But there was not only watching movies, I had some guests and the first event e.g. Stefan Kluge from [http://vebfilm.net/free/ VEB Film] a group of people who did the first longer movie licensed with an Creative Commons license. And we did also something new, we tested a movie Alpha, we showed a working cut from "The Last Drug" the second movie from VEB Film. A year later I had Tim Baumann as guest and we did also an Alpha test with his movie "Valkaama". Later others copied that, so doing the KommKino in Nuremberg since 3 years interesting movie nights with Creative Commons films.

I also did some talks like on [http://www.linuxtag.org/2010/de/program/freies-vortragsprogramm/popup/vortragsdetails-talkid421.html?talkid=421 LinuxTag] on that topic, thats always a interesting thing. As in FLOSS involved people know free available != free, but how many knows there exists a OSI approved standard whats an Open Source Movie. I load up some of my [http://www.teegee.de/download/gutenberg.svg slides] about that topic to my space, its svg so its the source u can show then directly in browser and with an SVG-Editor edit, if you need it. Such a movie event can be a got thing for an end of a Launch Party or any other FLOSS event, so if you like to do that, just ask me I can help you with it.

==talks==
During my work I created some slides for talks that might be useful for others. I do my slides with SVG, so you an edit them and use them directly in the browser. For the contribute to Fedora you must have Comfortaa font installed otherwise, another font is used. For A-Z talks its not needed allfonts are converted to path.
A-Z talk is an so called view-based presentation, means you see all slides if you open the svg file. The other talks are page based, means you have to use the layers dialog in Inkscape if you want to see them.
