My name is Isamar Villas Boas Perrelli Maia, or just Isamar Maia, or just "Izzy". I am Brazilian, from Bahia state, Salvador City. I have lived in Japan from 2001 to 2006 and now I am back to my hometown.
I am working in several Free Software projects now and use GNU/Linux since 1993.
The main project I am working on now is BitLinux, a customized Fedora OEM distro for PC manufacturers. Others include VOIP platform installation, maintenance, customization and programming.

Activities within Fedora
I have already 3 years(from 2006 to 2009) experience customizing Fedora distros for local customers' needs.
I started to study Python last year to interact better with Anaconda, the installer of Fedora.
I provide some speechs also about this experience, tips, techniques trying to bring interested people
for this group. In 2001 and 2007, I organized a big FS event bringing Richard Stallman to our city. This
year, we should be bringing Mr. Jon Maddog Hall for the first time in our region.
From now on, I wish to divulgate Fedora more than I was doing so far as the base distro platform of the largest commercial server distro in use in the planet, Redhat
