I'm a solid state physicist. I am developing a java library for electronic band structure calculations on a Fedora platform with eclipse. The library will be released with a GPL-v3.0 license. The calculations are based on nearly free electron and tight binding models. The library integrates with The Apache Commons Mathematics Library for numerical analyses and W3C SVG Java Language Binding for graphical output.
