Notes

  • GNOME on Wayland runs smoothly with some known issues
  • High power consumption due to lack of optimal power management
  • Hotkeys for media, backlight and suspend functional with fix for kernel-4.8.0

Summary

All test is done on an updated Fedora Workstation 24 with nearly out-of-box experience except the hotkeys and proper power management. Dual Radeon mode is currently unsupported on the Linux driver although works is underway.
