Hi there! My name is Leonardo Vaz, I'm living in Porto Alegre, Brazil and I am currently a Senior Software Maintenance Engineer at Red Hat specializing on local filesystem (XFS, Ext*, Btrfs) and most recently on distributed filesystems (Ceph and Gluster).
Hi there! My name is Leonardo Vaz, I am a Brazilian Fedora user am I am currently the Ceph Community Manager at Red Hat.
 
My first contact with Free Software was back in 1998 when I got Red Hat Linux 5.1 (Manhattan) installed in my old Pentium 100MHz with 8MiB of RAM. On the last 18 years I've been running FOSS on all my computers and servers. I'm a former [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conectiva Conectiva] employee and I was responsible for the [http://tchelinux.org/ Tchelinux LUG] between 2006-2010 and started contributing with the group recently.

Among all [[Join| roles]] suggested by the project, I think I best fit in the "[[Join#People_Person|People Person]]" definition, and my main goal is help people to find their place in the project and encouraging them to contribute.
