G’day everyone.
Currently involved in scientific research; working at multidisciplinary research hub and accountable for Linux servers deployment. Hands-on experience with RedHat/Centos, openSUSE, debian,  and*BSD systems; deployment of various services on production, testing and ‘mirror’ sites. Good knowledge of (RH KVM, Citrix XEN, VMware vSphere) hypervisors + simulations’ deployment within AWS EC2 public cloud. Happy to share gained knowledge and help those who are stuck in a loop. My name is Henrikas Jurkauskas and I'm from LT. Here I am working in IT projects (currently within EU structural funds). I've been working in gov. and private sectors and got a pretty decent perspective of how IT related decisions are made here while designing organization's IT infrastructure. Since RHEL is most commonly used keyword within that kind of professional work, thus I've decided that having better knowledge about this trend is a great advantage for further career. My goal is to obtain RHCE certificate, therefore I participate in this RH initiated project.

Besides technical decisions part of my work requires to deal with organizations that participate in public procurement competitions.
