Hi,

my name is John McLean, and I'm currently a senior in high school. A friend of mine introduced me to linux about 7 months back, and since then I've been using linux in the form of Ubuntu originally and recently Fedora. This summer I'm working at Red Hat as a Fedora intern, and very excited about the opportunities this opens up. I'm a beginner programmer working mostly in python, though if I have time this summer I'll start learning a few other languages. If you want to know more, just ask, my email is jesusfreak91@gmail.com

Ambassador's profile:

When the school year starts back up, I will be starting a linux user group at my school. We previously had one, but the leader left and the group hasn't done anything since. In the meantime, I recently moved to a new city and am hoping to find a LUG in my community. If there isn't one, then I'll see what I can do to start one.

Lingobot:

This is a small python program written up to translate languages in irc channels, intended primarily for use in international meetings. ie. instead of a #fedora-meeting channel, we'll have a #fedora-meeting-en, #fedora-meeting-es, #fedora-meeting-fr, etc. The bot translates between these channels.
