I am a long-time and fairly casual user of Red Hat Linux flavors. I started dabbling with Red Hat Linux in the late 90's, and have used Fedora and another RHEL-based Linux distribution.

Philosophy: I have a strong appreciation for the openness of the Linux kernel in general and the Fedora Linux distribution in particular. The recent patent wrangling fiasco makes true open source shine even brighter in my opinion. I'm pro profitable corporations, but not at the expense of innovation or fewer choices for the consumer.
