| == About Me ==
| |
| Just call me Rob. I'm an open source advocate and computer geek living in Boston, UK. I drive a truck for a living, delivering just about anything all over the UK. I became interested in Linux when I bought a copy of Linux Format magazine. I could not believe that all of the awesome software could be free. I have been using Linux for many years and I love the way that people are brought together by open source software. I enjoy coding and I am learning Ruby.

| == Projects ==
| |
| '''Education'''
| |
| *I love to introduce people to Open Source software. For a time I was a volunteer in a local computer group, helping to teach people about computers. I introduced many people of all age groups to Open Source software and replaced IE with Firefox on all of the school's computers. I was also successful in introducing Gimp, Scribus and Inkscape to lessons. I had to give up my volunteering commitments due to a change of job. '''If anyone has any education related projects ongoing please get in touch. I used to write step by step training material for the school and would love to do it again. I might even be persuaded to do a video...... '''
