About Me

Hi All ! Greetings ! I m Sreeram Vasudevan, a final year student of Engineering . I m a die hard fan of fedora and has been striving on it for the past two years. I m a Sun certified solaris professional and a red hat certified engineer. Apart from this, I m a polyglot with proficiency in 6 Indian Languages and 3 International Languages.(English,Hindi,Tamil,Urdu,Malayalam,Punjabi,Haryanvi,French,German) :-) I am highly motivated to contribute towards ma chere "Fedora" and evangelize open source. Anyone having any doubts regarding open source can feel free to approach me. I m confident that I can help solve thier problem, if not help them reach near the solution.

As stated earlier, I m a sun certified professional:
1. Sun Certified System Administrator in Solaris 10 Operating Environment (SCSA)
2. Sun Certified Network Administrator in Solaris 10 Operating Environment (SCNA)
3. Sun Certified Security Administrator in Solaris 10 Operating Environment (SCSECA)
Apart from that I hold the following certifications:
1. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Currently I m involved in developing three projects in Linux (Red Hat EL 5) for the Hon'ble Government of India.

Plans Ahead

I would like to be contributor to one of the most dedicated communities, "FEDORA", and spread the word of fedora in true sense in order to strive for the benefit and growth of the community. If given chance, As an ambassador, I would like to inculcate the spirit of development in the recent trends in Linux Scenario among my juniors, colleagues and Peer groups for the betterment of Fedora. I m very confident about my technical skills and managerial skills and can contribute to Fedora in a wide range from content writing and marketing to development and customization. I m in progress of creating a help desk to facilitate the transition of newbies to open source and Fedora.
