Hi,
Hi,

This is the User page of Swefredde (a.k.a Fredrik Arneving). I'm interested to learn more about the basic linux operating system like the boot process, kickstart, PAM, systemd etc. To increase my professional value as Linux Consultant I have also tried to follow the cloud hype that has been going on for some years now.
This is the User page of Swefredde (a.k.a Fredrik Arneving). I signed up to the Fedora project to meet skilled people and learn more about the basic linux operating system like the boot process, kickstart, PAM, systemd etc.

I'm a certified RHCSA, RHCE, RH Specialist in Ansible Automation and RH Specialist in Virtualization. My OpenStack Foundation COA exired January 2020. I live in Stockholm, Sweden.
Since spring 2021 I have been involved in the fedora-server project. My main contribution will probably be to write ansible playbooks, roles and collections for different system administration tasks. I have worked with ansible since around 2017 and got my ansible certification in 2018. I think ansible is a great tool and I'm looking forward to develop my skills when working together with experienced fedoraproject members to produce stable code that works in all kinds of environments.

I find it hard to get good documentation on specific Linux issues so I figured I should join the Fedora community to accelerate my learing by getting in contact with interesting projects managed by skilled linux users/admins/developers. Should you be reading this presentation by any reason and figure I can help you in some of the areas listed above, don't hesitate to send me a message.
I work full time as Red Hat Linux Consultant and my current assignment has included more security hardening work than my previous assignments. The policy to match is the PCI-DSS and since I know both Satellite and OpenSCAP I've been asked to set up automated OpenSCAP scans from Satellite. I have also assisted the team in getting RHEL8 ready for their production customers.

I have an oVirt environment at home where I can kickstart CentOS 7,8 and Fedora from my Foreman/katello server and join to my free-IPA realm.

I have not a programming backgrond but I've scripted a lot with python and eagerly working on my spare time to improve my Django skills. My ambition is to also at some point master the OpenShift platform from an administrative point of view.

Please reach out to me if you want to discuss some system administration stuff or if you think I can contribute to your fedora project in some way.

Hi,

This is the User page of Swefredde (a.k.a Fredrik Arneving). I signed up to the Fedora project to meet skilled people and learn more about the basic linux operating system like the boot process, kickstart, PAM, systemd etc.
