I am 37 years old and of German-Finnish origin and a graduate in "International Business Studies" from Universität Paderborn. During my studies I focussed on English and French and also spent some time abroad in France and the UK. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in "European Business Administration" from Nottingham Trent University. | |||
I started out with Linux in 1999 with a boxed set of Suse Linux 6.2 and tried some other distributions as well. I also contribute translations to the Mandriva Project and translated most of the "Mandriva Directory Server" into German. Furthermore I contribute to the Lx-Office business software (www.lx-office.org) and update articles on their wiki. Recently I also registered a small business and you can hire me should you need any consulting on "Open Source ERP-systems" or Linux in general. I am also accepting offers concerning translation from French and English into German. | |||
As far as my Linux certifications are concerned this is a work in progress: In May 2011 I successfully passed the first LPI-101 exam. | |||
