Uditha Bandara Wijerathna
I'm a 2nd year student at ICT student at University of Rajarata. Also I'm giving my contribution to FOSS Sri lanka. I'm very much interested in Cloud and Visualization technologies and I'm specialising Open Source platform development and OSS development in the university. I'm a lover of Qt and GTK+ development toolkits. Also I'm studying RHCSA/RHCE and CCNA as additional s for the Bachelors degree. Loves to involve in FOSS community works.
Personal attitudes towards Fedora and FOSS
Nowadays in countries like Sri lanka, some topics those can be heard from tech people and even non-tech people, are FOSS, Linux, Fedora ... For us, It is like huge hop! Because from year ago, very few people were there to work and do something with FOSS. But now things have been changed a lot. Government also gives a big support by encouraging FOSS and the happy thing is, most of Gov things were going with the OS FEDORA!. So we're proud to be a part of fedora community and feels like we achieved endless freedom... Still long tour to go.
