I've been a Linux user since 1999. I looked around at the various distro's back then and chose Red Hat as the best path to follow. My decision was a good one! Although I've experimented with many different distro's, my original Red Hat based choice remains my favourite. I use Fedora (KDE spin) for my desktop and CentOS for my servers.
I eventually gave up using Microsoft desktop operating systems at home some five years or more ago and haven't looked back. I only wish I'd done it sooner!
