Name suggestions for Fedora 14

Hi Paul,

I wonder why some name suggestions (e.g. ‘Alfvén’ or ‘Lausanna’) that got a ‘initial approve’ were not approved by the board. Did the people from the board select their six prefered names for the ballot?

That's correct, Raphael. The guidelines for release names, as linked from the name suggestions page, describes the process. The Board decides on a shorter list and passes that to Red Hat Legal for clearance for the voting ballot. --pfrields 16:34, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
