FEDORA VIDEO CONTEST

Grab your computer, camera or any other digital video camera and capture an awesome intro or/and outro for the Fedora Official videos. !!!

Videos can only be submitted by emailing videos@fedoraproject.org with the video. Projects should be between 5 seconds and 30 seconds. No inappropriate material will be considered. Deadline for links to be emailed to us is May 10, 2012. Send the link to your video, your name, FAS user and wiki user link with the subject "Fedora Videos Contest" Be as creative as you want!

How to Enter Constest

Make a short video and Email us with the link to the video and the below information. Be sure that your video can be embedded on our website and videos if we select your video.

Video must be at least 10 seconds and 30 seconds or less. No in appropriate material will be considered.

Include in your email the the link to your video, your name, FAS user and wiki user link. There are no limit of entries per person. By entering your video in the contest you give Fedora the permission to post the video anywhere.

JUDGING

All videos will be judged based on the following criteria:

  • 75% - Originality and Creativity
  • 25% - Production Value (Sound -Can we hear and understand the dialogue?-, Image -Can we see the subject or other images? Are they too blurry? Is it too shaky?-)
  • In the event of a tie, the entry with the highest score in "Originality and Creativity" will be selected as the winner.

The winner will be notified by email.
