Fedora Design Suite

Summary

The Fedora Design Suite is a set of tools including well-selected applications from Design Team fitting a variety of use cases whether deciding to work on publishing documents, creating images, pictures, websites, basic animation and video editing or even 3D contents.

What's new for Release 43?

  • Update to Gnome 49 featuring improved support of High Dynamic Range (HDR), new video player and document viewer.
  • Blender 4.5.3 - New release with several improvements.
  • Gimp 3.0.6 - Latest stable release with several improvements and ports from 3.1.x developments.
  • Darktable 5.2.1 - Several improvements notably with rusticl OpenCL (optional as experimental).
  • Inkscape 1.4.2 - A new splash screen, providing a visual cue while Inkscape loads in the background.
  • Krita 5.2.13 with several improvements.
  • Scribus 1.6.4 fixes for PDF/X-4 export when attempting to use ICC profile unsuitable for output.
  • Xournal 1.2.8 with bug fixes.
  • Sparkleshare is removed from default installation.
