Below are example user stories for the Group management of the FreeIPA WebUI. These stories represent common actions an administrator performs and are intended to guide your testing.
As you go through each user story, please not only verify the expected results, but also describe your overall experience:
- Was the workflow clear and intuitive?
- Were the actions easy to find?
- Did the UI provide helpful feedback or error messages?
- Did anything feel confusing, slow, or unexpected?
These are only a few example user stories. We strongly encourage you to explore any other actions or scenarios you find relevant in the Group management. Your feedback on areas outside the predefined tests is extremely valuable and helps us improve the overall usability of the WebUI.
Creating a New User Group
Goal
Create a new group for organizing users.
Expected result
New group is created and appears in the group list.
Adding Users to a Group
Goal
Assign existing users to a group.
Expected result
Selected users are added to the group.
Removing Users from a Group
Goal
Remove users from a group.
Expected result
Selected users are removed from the group.
Deleting a User Group
Goal
Remove a group from FreeIPA.
Expected result
Group is removed from the system.
