From Fedora Project Wiki

Page to keep track of Linux support development for Yoga Slim 7x (Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite), a Yoga with an Arm CPU.

Most of the following information comes from #aarch64-laptops on OFTC and #fedora-arm on Libera.chat and arm[AT]lists.fedoraproject.org. Upstream information changes daily, so this page may be outdated.

Known Issues

  • Remoteproc fails to start. This can manually be started with echo start | sudo tee /sys/class/remoteproc/remoteproc0/state
  • Camera not recognized. Requires additions to the kernel upstream.
  • Wifi (ath12k) fails to probe with Linux 6.19.{2,10} kernel
  • Not verified: speaker protection may still be missing

Bootable images

As of Fedora 44 beta, the device is able to boot from USB live image with following kernel parameters added: clk_ignore_unused pd_ignore_unused module_blacklist=qcom_q6v5_pas.
Automatic DTB selection for aarch64 EFI systems works as expected.
