Standardize server virtual provides

Summary

Standardize server provides. This implies changing smtpdaemon to server(smtp).

Owner

Current status

  • Targeted release: Fedora 9
  • Last updated: Wed Mar 19 2008
  • Percentage of completion: 100%

The servers provides have been added, now the package maintainers can add them in the dependent packages. They can also keep smtpdaemon for compatibility with previous releases.

There is no precise time schedule for having replaced smtpdaemon by server(smtp), though it would make sense to have it done when F-8 is EOL since server(smtp) was introduced in F-9.
