Tong

http://www.nongnu.org/tong/

A clever combination of two classic arcade games. Bounce the ball between the paddles as in Pong while it interacts in a variety of ways with the falling Tetris-style blocks. Sometimes the ball will stick to the blocks, sometimes it will cause the blocks to rotate, and sometimes it just ignore them.

Installation instructions

Running

Tong can be started with the desktop icon. You can also start Tong on the command line with the command tong. No command line arguments are available.

Use the mouse to control the position of the paddles, and use the cursor keys to move and rotate the blocks as they fall. Once tong has started you can use the Rules and Controls menu options to learn how to play and change the controls.

Configuration

All configuration is performed in the game using the start screen menu. The settings are saved to $HOME/.tong-config, but this file should not be changed manually.
