You might also want to look at Pilgrim which is the official Fedora Live CD creation tool. Kadischi is an alternative to Pilgrim an application for Fedora based LiveCD generation. It is still in the early stage of development and is available via CVS. All comments and suggestions are welcome. See the Screenshots.
Kadischi's development has now reached End Of Life on 08 July 2007. There is no one behind kadischi's development team.Users are recommended to try "revisor" to create their custom spins.
On Fedora 7, you can install revisor as root via:
yum install revisor
- Build robust tools for building Fedora-based Live CDs, and putting these tools into Fedora repository.
- Create Live CDs from these tools, based entirely upon content in Fedora Package Collection, for official "blessing".
- Distribute these blessed Live CDs far and wide, through whatever clever means we can come up with.
Execute the following in a terminal (hit enter when prompted for password):
export CVSROOT=:pserver:firstname.lastname@example.org:/cvs/devel cvs -z3 login cvs -z3 co kadischi
