dmc: See this thread for the initial round of discussion.

dmc: note that the 51% completion is primarily about polish. Being tagged as experimental, I think it is ready for review and inclusion and could be shipped as is. Yesterday I got LVM and wholedisk support in my local tree and tested. The core remaining critical unfinished functionality is just walking through /etc/rc.d/init.d/livesys and adding an inverse of what happens there at the end of installation. Which is a bit of work, but certainly not 49%. I expect most of the remaining 49% will be responding to package/code review, and possibly becoming the package maintainer myself. Though I would be quite happy if an experienced package maintainer would take it under their wing, saving me from that learning curve (right now, I'll be quite happy to climb that learning curve at some point in the future).

dmc: 2k9-07-17: status update: 53%, now that upstream has released 0.1.4, supporting lvm, unmounting special liveos tmpfs-s, and several other fixes and enhancements, as well as a growingly detailed ROADMAP.
