About Omar CHERIF
Professionally I'm a Web Developer and GNU/Linux sysadmin for eCHERIF a software development company based in Tunisia (supporting mostly Fedora in the usual heterogeneous environment). I am using GNU/Linux since 2006 and has been a long time user of Fedora GNU/Linux Distribution. I enjoy working with Fedora and learning as much as I can about the operating system and I try to keep myself fluent in both the CLI and GUI aspects. Throughout the time I had the opportunity to try out many distributions such as CentOS, SuSE, Debian, Yellowdog and more recently Ubuntu (From Gusty to Karmic, but now I mostly use ubuntu with Back|Track) but I am still a fan of RPM distribution mainly Fedora. I have also just started bloging and advocating about Free and Open Source Software as well as Open Content. I have also been involved in Web development for more than 5 years. I am 28 years old (and counting...) and I enjoy contributing to the community as much as I can.
