About me
I am Prabin Kumar Datta, a Fresh B.Tech Graduate in IT from Govt. College Of Engg. And Ceramic Tech, Belaghata. Currently, I am staying at Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
I am a using fedora from the version fedora 5. I started Linux as a OS using fedora 5 only. Then I switch to other Linux providers like Ubuntu, Xubuntu, Work Bench Ubuntu, Boss, Red Hat,...
I love fedora more then any other OS since :-
- Secure than windows
- Help me learn many things
- Licensing freedom
- Access Control
- Multilayered run levels:work from either the command line or the GUI
- Multiuser mode
- Blue my favourite colour. :)
After that I have followed each and every version of Fedora, I saw the constant urge to improve and sticking to some basics, that's why I am still with Fedora. And I plan to continue...

- I like to see fedora as bugs and errors free Operating System.
- One for All users- make fedora a user friendly so that each and every user can use this OS without
facing any problem. - Easy availability- users can easily get fedora OS and the required information.
- Spread the word fedora among the non-Computer Engineers.
- Encourage people to contribute for Fedora Projects.
- And the most important create a friendly relation with other fedora developers and users, at the
same time encourage others also to do the same
