Description

This test case is to check that fonts/rendering are correctly displayed and translated in applications, which should be able to 'speak' foreign languages (English is the mother tongue here).

How to test

  1. First, be sure you have system-config-language installed:
    yum install system-config-language
  2. Next, start system-config-language by selecting System -> Administration -> Language from the desktop menu.
  3. Choose a language and select OK
  4. Reboot your system
  5. Run an application which is supposed to be in that language.
  6. Check the fonts/rendering/characters in the applications such as output, prompts, menu items and window contents.(GUI)

Expected Results

  1. System reboot successfully to the selected language.
  2. Characters/Rendering are displayed properly in the application.
