Who are we?

Advocates are passionate contributors who want to participate in community events, represent Fedora and help the region in harnessing more and more from the contributor base. Advocates are people who love spreading the knowledge about What's new in Fedora at Release Parties and also helping new contributors to join and hack on any of the subprojects for a day at FADs

What we do?

  • Organize Fedora participation at events
  • Talk about the Fedora Four Foundations
  • Promote FLOSS and open source projects
  • Demonstrate Fedora and other open source projects to the public
  • Promote Fedora at local user groups with talks etc...

Where are we?

Fedora Advocates are people who are spread throughout the world and they work closely with Ambassadors in the region. Here's a map of 4 diverse regions, consisting of multiple communities each of which has many Ambassadors to help Advocates kick-start their first activity.
