About FrOSCon

FrOSCon is a two day conference on Free Software and Open Source, taking place for the fifth time on August, 20th/21st 2011 at the University of Applied Science in Sankt Augustin near the cities of Bonn and Cologne.

The conference revolves around a rich schedule of talks, highlighting current topics in Free Software and Open Source. Moreover, developers will be offered a large Free Software / Open Source space, allowing them to organize their own meetings or even their own lineup of events.

Additionally, exhibition space will be available to companies and projects, so they can present themselves to the visitors.

Accommodation

Unlike in previous years we will not stay at Hotel Regina in St Augustin but at Hotel zum Stern in Siegburg. FrOSCon was not able to tell us if there are still beds left in Hotel Regina and when they will be given to the projects.

The hotel is close to the station Siegburg. From there you can reach any other destination by train and FrOSCon is just 2 stops / Minutes away by tram (STR 66)

As of 2011-07-21 rooms have been booked by the event owner. If you need one please add a check mark in the table in the hotel room column.
