Description

Test whether a Google account can be created.

Setup

  1. Ensure that Package-x-generic-16.pnggnome-online-accounts and Package-x-generic-16.pnggnome-control-center are installed.

How to test

  1. Run System Settings and go to the Online Accounts panel.
  2. Click the "+" button.
  3. Select Google.
  4. Enter your username and password.
  5. Allow access once you have logged in.

Expected Results

  1. Once you have logged in, the cancel button should disappear.
  2. Once you have allowed access, the dialog should disappear and the new account should appear in the panel.
  3. GMail should show up in Evolution.
  4. Google Calendars should show up in Evolution.
  5. Google Contacts should show up in Contacts and Evolution.
  6. GTalk should show up in Empathy.
  7. Google Documents should show up in Documents.
  8. You should not be prompted for a password to use the applications unless you use 2-factor authentication.
