Description

This test case is to check the language switch on the desktop.


How to test

  • If the display manager supports switching language, do it there.
  • For GNOME3:
  1. Log into the desktop
  2. Click on System Settings from the menu on the upper right corner
  3. Click on Region & Language
  4. Go to the Language tab
  5. Click '+' icon and select a language you want to use if not in the list, otherwise just choose one.
  6. Log out and Log in again.
 If no logout menu, run gnome-session-quit command on the terminal.
  • Not otherwise classified the above:
  1. Install system-config-language if not installed
  2. run system-config-language
  3. select a language you want to use
  4. Log out and Log in again.

Expected Results

The expected language should be available on the desktop.
