This test case is to check the language switch on the desktop.

How to test

  • If the display manager supports switching language, do it there.
  • For GNOME3:
  1. Log into the desktop
  2. Click on the toolbox icon from the system status menu on the upper right corner or run gnome-control-center from Activity or Terminal.
  3. Click on Region & Language
  4. Click Language column and select a language you want to use.
  5. Log out and Log in again.
You will get a notification to log out, run gnome-session-quit command on the terminal otherwise.
  • Not otherwise classified the above:
  1. Install system-config-language if not installed
  2. run system-config-language
  3. select a language you want to use
  4. Log out and Log in again.

Expected Results

The expected language should be available on the desktop.
