Description

This test case is to check that characters/fonts are correctly displayed and translated in desktop.


How to test

Desktop could be gnome, kde, xfce etc.

  1. First, be sure you have Package-x-generic-16.pngsystem-config-language installed:
    yum install system-config-language
  2. Next, start system-config-language by selecting System -> Administration -> Language from the desktop menu.
  3. Choose a language and select OK
  4. Reboot your system
  5. Check the fonts/rendering/characters on desktop such as menus and the names.

Expected Results

  1. System reboot successfully to the selected language.
  2. Characters are displayed and rendered properly on desktop.
