Revision as of 22:01, 11 January 2016 by Adamwill (talk | contribs) (create new previous_any test case (covering 'previous stable', not 'current stable'))

Warning.png
Name change: previous vs. current
Until 2016-01-11, the test case at this location covered upgrades from the current stable Fedora release, not the previous stable Fedora release. On 2016-01-11 that test was renamed to QA:Testcase upgrade dnf current any, and this test case was added. If you followed a link from a release validation result page created before 2016-01-11, please be aware that at the time the tests were run, this page more resembled QA:Testcase upgrade dnf current any. See this email for more information.

Description

This test case tests upgrading from the previous stable Fedora release (presently Fedora 39) to the next Fedora release (presently Fedora 41) using DNF system upgrade. This is a "fake" test case, which can be satisfied by executing any other system upgrade test case, and just serves for separating different types of results in the result matrix better.

How to test

  1. Pick any previous (not current) test case related to DNF system upgrade from Category:Upgrade system.
  2. Follow that test case.

Expected Results

  1. Requirements of that test case must be fulfilled.
