Current status

Summary

Merge Core and Extras in a single CVS root.

Usage cases/rationale

Part of eliminating the distinction between Core and Extras.

Scope

Requires shuffling over a lot of ,v files, adding ACLs, and getting accounts set up.

Test Plan

Build something out of CVS.

Dependencies

Depends on the new build system feature.

Details

Leaf packages may start to be moved soon. All packages WILL be moved by Test 2, gating on feature #1. Reviews will take place, there will be an automated system to determine what needs review.

The full move will consist of:

1. turn off access to internal CVS 1. sync over ,v files 1. turn on external access 1. make a /cvs/<something> symlink that points to /cvs/extras
