An ignorant question - why write a separate driver instead of improving the bonding implementation? What is the long-term vision? Are the two supposed to coexist indefinitely, or is this supposed to eventually replace bonding? --Mitr 16:54, 20 July 2012 (UTC)

The "how to test" section suggests manually running teamd. So, no integration with init.d/network or NetworkManager for now, no init script? --Mitr 16:54, 20 July 2012 (UTC)

  • "How to test" section is out of date. You can see example ifcfg-* in /usr/share/doc/teamd-0.1/example_ifcfgs/ and there is systemd unit file shipped. ttorcz 14:45, 09 August 2012 (UTC)
